Integration services
Engineering services from concept to production
RoboForgeAI delivers end-to-end integration for manufacturers who need more than a hardware vendor or a software licence. Our Burlington team combines mechanical layout, controls programming, vision tuning, and IT connectivity under one statement of work—so accountability stays clear when commissioning deadlines approach.
Services below can be engaged individually or as part of a multi-phase roadmap. We align deliverables with your internal project gates: concept review, FAT, SAT, and operator sign-off.
Integration engineering
PLC and robot controller programming, HMI design, and network architecture for cells that must coexist with legacy equipment. We document tag maps, I/O lists, and revision-controlled code repositories your controls team can maintain.
Assembly automation
High-mix and dedicated assembly cells with tool changers, force-controlled insertion, and inline verification. Cycle-time studies include buffer analysis so upstream stations are not starved during takt changes.
Machine vision systems
2D, 3D, and multispectral inspection for defect detection, gauging, and OCR. Calibrated lighting design, reject handling, and image archival for quality audits and customer traceability requests.
Predictive maintenance
Sensor deployment, edge analytics, and CMMS integration to shift from calendar-based service to condition-based intervention. Models are retrained on your equipment signatures—not generic industry baselines alone.
How engagements run
Discovery begins with a half-day site assessment: floor walk, sample parts, and interface inventory. We return a fixed-scope proposal with milestones, assumptions, and explicit exclusions. During build phases, weekly demos keep stakeholders aligned; during commissioning, we shadow your operators through at least one full shift handoff.
Documentation deliverables include electrical schematics, pneumatic diagrams where applicable, software version manifests, backup images for controllers, and a spare-parts list with vendor part numbers. Maintenance leads receive a troubleshooting decision tree keyed to HMI alarm codes your operators will actually see.
For multi-site manufacturers, we standardise cell recipes and tag conventions so Hamilton and Windsor plants do not diverge into incompatible variants. Central engineering retains approval rights on recipe changes through role-based access in the orchestration module.
Post-go-live support options include remote monitoring, spare-parts recommendations, and quarterly health checks. All service work is governed by our Terms of Service and data handling described in our Privacy Policy.
AI & robotics disclaimer: Service deliverables involve physical automation and software configuration subject to site conditions. Vision and predictive models require ongoing validation; RoboForgeAI does not warrant uninterrupted operation or specific financial returns unless explicitly stated in a signed statement of work.
